Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Caribbean

Airalo’s Caribbean offerings do not include a truly unlimited data plan. The “Island Hopper – Unlimited” plans provide a 3GB/day allowance; once that limit is reached, the connection is reduced to 1 Mbps, so the data is not unlimited. For travelers who need consistent high‑speed data, Airalo offers fixed‑data plans such as the Discover 20 GB plan, valid for 365 days and available on 5G networks across the Caribbean, or the Discover+ 20 GB plan. These fixed‑data options can be more cost‑effective for those who do not use data beyond the set amounts, while heavy users may find limited working capacity after the daily cap is reached.

Airalo does not offer eSIM plans for the Caribbean that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for Caribbean destinations. Travelers can still stay connected using VoIP and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection when a phone number is not required.

Airalo offers three eSIM plans that include Caribbean coverage. The Discover plan – and its enhanced Discover+ version – covers Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, the Bahamas, Curaçao, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the British Virgin Islands. The Island Hopper plan overlaps this list but does not include the Dominican Republic, Martinique or the British Virgin Islands, instead covering Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Saint Barthélemy, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, the Bahamas, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. All of these countries are part of the approved Caribbean list.
