Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Caribbean

Airalo does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for the Caribbean. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name give 3 GB of high‑speed data per day; once the daily limit is reached, speed is throttled to 1000 kbps, so data is still capped.

For travelers who need more continuous bandwidth, Airalo offers fixed‑data alternatives such as the Discover – 20 GB plan (365 days, $66.00 USD) and the Island Hopper – 10 GB plan (7 to 30 days, $47–49 USD). These plans provide a set amount of high‑speed data without the daily replenishment or speed reduction that characterises the “Unlimited” name, and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Airalo does not provide a Caribbean eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available for the Caribbean. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but it is advisable to verify that these services are accessible in the destination country because some may be blocked or restricted.

Airalo’s Caribbean eSIM offerings come in three plans with overlapping coverage. The Island Hopper plan provides connectivity across Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Saint Barthélemy, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten, Saba, the Bahamas, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (while also extending to Bermuda, French Guiana and Guyana in other regions). The Discover plan covers the same Caribbean territories plus Terminology adjustments for a broader audience, including Anguilla, the Dominican Republic, Martinique, Sint Maarten, and the British Virgin Islands, and similarly extends to various non‑Caribbean regions. The Discover+ plan covers all of the above Caribbean locations—including Saint Barthélemy and the British Virgin Islands—again with additional coverage in multiple international territories beyond the Caribbean.
