Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Caribbean

Airalo does not provide a genuine unlimited data eSIM for the Caribbean. The plans labeled “Unlimited” give 3 GB per day of high‑speed data, after which the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. Because the data cap is reached each day, the plans are not unlimited in the sense of continuous fast access.

Travelers looking for unthrottled data can instead choose fixed‑data offerings. For example, the 20 GB plan for 15 days costs €65.00 USD and the 10 GB plan for 7 days costs €47.00 USD. These plans provide a large, predictable amount of high‑speed data and can be more cost‑effective for most users than a daily capped “Unlimited” option.

Airalo does not offer eSIM plans for the Caribbean that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for Caribbean destinations. Travelers can still stay connected using VoIP and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection when a phone number is not required.

Airalo offers three Caribbean eSIM plans: the Island Hopper plan, which covers Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Saint Barthélemy, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba, Bahamas, Curaçao, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; the Discover plan, which adds Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic, Martinique, and keeps the same coverage as Island Hopper; and the Discover + plan, which adds the British Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic to Discover’s coverage while maintaining all the Caribbean countries already listed. These plans collectively cover every Caribbean country on the approved list that appears in Airalo’s offerings.
