Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Central America

Nomad does not offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for Central America. Instead, Nomad sells fixed‑data plans that cover the Central American countries of Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and El Salvador. For example, a 20GB plan for 30 days is priced at $69.00 USD, and a 10GB plan for the same validity is priced at $39.00 USD. These fixed data plans may be more cost‑effective for most travelers; however, they may be less economical if you are an extremely heavy data user and need higher data allowances or unlimited data.

Nomad does not provide a phone number or SMS capability for its Central America eSIM plans. Only data‑only options are offered.

Travelers can use data‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to make calls and send messages over the internet connection.

Nomad’s eSIM plans cover the five Central American countries—Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and El Salvador. These states are included under the Regional Latin America plan and also appear in the wider Regional Global plan, which extends coverage beyond Central America but retains the same five-country set for this region.
