Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Central America

Nomad does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Central America.
Instead, several fixed‑data options are available for a 30‑day validity period, such as the Regional Latin America package with 20 GB of data for $69.00 USD and the 10 GB package for $39.00 USD. These plans include unlimited tethering and support 5G connectivity across countries in Central America, including Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and El Salvador.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless a user expects to consume data well beyond the offered allowances. Nomad’s options cover a range of data needs, but an unlimited plan is not one of them.

Nomad does not provide a phone number or SMS capability for its Central America eSIM plans. Only data‑only options are offered.

Travelers can use data‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to make calls and send messages over the internet connection.

Nomad’s eSIM offerings that cover Central America comprise two plans. The “Regional Latin America” plan includes Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and El Salvador, while the broader “Regional Global” plan also covers those same five countries in addition to other regions, but the Central American coverage remains unchanged; both plans therefore provide service across Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and El Salvador.
