eSIMCard eSIM Data Plans for Europe

eSIMCard does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Europe. All of its “Unlimited” plans listed for Europe actually include a fixed allocation of 1 GB of high‑speed data per day (or a single 1 GB burst for a 1‑day plan). After the allocation is reached the connection is throttled to 500 kbps, which means the high‑speed data is no longer unlimited.

Travelers who need a large amount of data can choose from eSIMCard’s fixed‑data plans. For example, a 50 GB plan is valid for 30 days, and a 100 GB plan is available for 31 days or 90 days in Europe. These plans offer a substantial data allowance without the post‑limit speed reduction, and can be more cost‑effective for moderate to heavy data usage.

eSIMCard does not offer any Europe eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capabilities. The provider only supplies data‑only eSIMs for the continent, so travelers cannot receive or send standard telephone calls or SMS through the eSIM. Nonetheless, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection for calling and messaging without need for a local phone number or SMS service.

eSIMCard’s eSIM plans cover every country on the approved European list, including Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Greece, Portugal, Sweden, Croatia, Hungary, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Malta, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Norway, Romania, Switzerland, Slovakia, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Gibraltar, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Isle of Man, Faroe Islands, Jersey, Belarus, Andorra, Guernsey, Kosovo, Russia, Monaco, Åland Islands, Vatican City, San Marino, and Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
