Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Europe

Nomad does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM plan for Europe. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their names actually offer a capped amount of data—37.5 GB for 5 days or 75 GB for 10 days—after which the speed is reduced. Because the cap is still in place, the data supply stops being unlimited once the limit is reached.

Travelers who need more data can choose one of Nomad’s fixed‑data options. For example, a 50 GB plan is available for 30 days at $29 USD, and a 50 GB plan for 365 days can be purchased for $125 USD or $170 USD depending on the coverage range. These fixed‑data plans may be more cost effective unless a traveler is a very heavy data user who expects unlimited high‑speed data throughout the trip.

Nomad does not provide any eSIM plan for Europe that includes a dedicated phone number or SMS capability. Customers who purchase a Nomad eSIM for Europe receive a data‑only plan; if they need to make calls or send messages, they can do so through VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage that operate over the data connection provided by the eSIM.

Nomad’s Regional Europe plan covers Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Gibraltar, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, San Marino, and Vatican City, while the Regional Global plan adds Andorra, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Faroe Islands, Isle of Man, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine. The Regional EU‑US‑CA tier offers overlapping European coverage plus a handful of additional states, and the Regional Global‑EX tier provides the same European reach with a few more overseas territories. All of these plans list the European countries detailed above as part of their coverage area.
