Airalo does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for South America. The plans listed with “Unlimited” in the name actually allow only 3 GB of high‑speed data per day; once that limit is reached the speed drops to 1000 kbps. Travelers who need more data can choose one of Airalo’s fixed data plans, such as 20 GB for 15 or 30 days or 10 GB for 7 days, which offer larger data allowances but require a fixed validity period. These plans are more cost‑effective for most users who do not consume data at a super‑heavy level.
