Airalo eSIM Data Plans for South Asia

Airalo does not currently offer any unlimited‑data eSIM plans for South Asia. Travelers can, however, choose from a range of fixed‑data options that cover Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and several other nearby countries. For example, the Asialink 100 GB plan is valid for 180 days and costs $185.00 USD, while the 50 GB plan is valid for 90 days and costs $100.00 USD. An alternative is the Discover 20 GB plan, valid for 365 days, priced at $66.00 USD. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, and may be suitable unless a traveler needs truly unlimited data usage.

Airalo does not offer eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability in South Asia. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for that region. Travelers can use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages.

Asialink offers coverage in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan; the Discover plan also covers Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan; and Discover+ provides the same South Asian coverage of Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, while each of these plans extends coverage to multiple other regions beyond South Asia.
