Maya Mobile eSIM Data Plans for South Asia

Maya Mobile does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for South Asia. All of its South Asian plans have a fixed data allowance, such as the Global Unlimited STANDARD 5 day plan that offers 3 GB/day or the Global 20GB 1‑day plan with a 20 GB allotment. After the data cap is reached, the connection can be throttled or the plan is simply exhausted. A fixed data plan, such as the 20 GB options, may be more cost‑effective for travelers who need a substantial amount of data but are not extremely heavy users.

Maya Mobile does not offer an eSIM plan for South Asia that includes a phone number or SMS functionality. Only data‑only plans are available from this provider, so travelers cannot receive traditional voice calls or text messages on the device. For communication, popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection.

Maya Mobile’s “Global -” eSIM plan covers Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in South Asia. The same plan also extends to many other regions worldwide, though those additional areas lie outside South Asia.
