BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for South Asia

BNESIM does not provide any unlimited data eSIM for South Asia. All South Asian plans listed by BNESIM are fixed data bundles, with the largest offering 100 GB of data for 30 days (priced at US$179.85) or 100 GB with no expiry (priced at US$224.82). Other fixed options include 50 GB for 30 days or for no expiry, and 20 GB for 30 days, all of which are usable across Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and the broader 134‑country coverage.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless they expect to consume data beyond the bundle’s allowance during their trip.

BNESIM does not provide eSIM plans for South Asia that include a SIM‑based phone number or SMS capability. All South Asia plans from BNESIM are data‑only, so travelers will not be able to receive traditional voice calls or SMS through the local cellular network.

If travelers need voice or messaging, they can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations in South Asia may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps required for communication are accessible in the specific country before purchasing a BNESIM eSIM.

The Surf in Global for plan from BNESIM covers Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal and Pakistan; no other BNESIM plan lists any South Asian country, and none of the plans include Afghanistan or Bhutan. The Surf in Global for plan also provides coverage in many other regions, but its South Asian coverage is limited to the six countries listed above.
