eSIMCard eSIM Data Plans for South Asia

eSIMCard does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for South Asia. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in the name all include a fixed data cap – either 1 GB/day or 2 GB/day – and after that cap is reached the speed is reduced to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps.
Instead, eSIMCard offers fixed‑data plans that keep full 5G speeds for the whole validity period. For instance, a 100 GB plan for 30 days and a 100 GB plan for 180 days are available for South Asia. Choosing one of these fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for travelers who require a large amount of data without the speed throttling that applies to the “Unlimited” products.

eSIMCard does not provide a local phone number or SMS capability for its South Asia eSIM plans. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs in that region. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications—such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage—over the data connection to make calls and send messages without needing a traditional phone number or SMS service.
