Giga.Tel does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for South Asia. The plan labeled “Global(Not Include Mainland China) 15 days（1GB/Day Unlimited)” actually caps high‑speed data at 1 GB per day; after the limit, the speed drops to 512 kbps. The other plans are all fixed‑data packages with caps ranging from 5 GB to 20 GB and differing validity periods. For example, a 20 GB plan is available for 3 days (reduced speed to 128 kbps after the limit) and a 20 GB plan is also offered for 365 days with tethering allowed. If a traveler needs extensive data, choosing one of these fixed‑data plans may be more cost‑effective than a nominal “unlimited” option that actually imposes limits.

Giga.Tel offers only data‑only eSIM plans for South Asia, so no plan includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and messaging.
