MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for South Asia

MoodSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for South Asia. The plans labelled “Unlimited” in their catalog actually allow only a daily high‑speed data quota—500 MB or 1 GB per day—and once that limit is reached the speed drops to 384 kbps. Travelers who need more consistent high‑speed data can choose one of the fixed‑plan options. For example, the Asia (Asia Extended) 20 GB 30 days plan costs about $51.29 and the 10 GB 30 days plan costs about $30.30; a smaller 5 GB 30 days plan is available as well. These fixed plans give a larger total data allowance without a speed reduction, which can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

MoodSIM does not provide South Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All South Asia plans sold by MoodSIM are data‑only, with no inbound or outbound voice or text support.

Travelers can still communicate through internet‑based messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which operate over the data connection and do not require a local phone number or SMS service.
