MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for South Asia

MTX Connect does not offer an unlimited‑data eSIM plan for South Asia. The service provides fixed‑data options instead, such as a 10 GB plan valid for 30 days at $34.25 USD, a 4 GB plan valid for 14 days at $17.12 USD, and a 2 GB plan valid for 7 days at $10.27 USD. These plans cover Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan, along with more than 130 additional countries. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective than paying for unlimited data unless a traveler is an extreme heavy user.

MTX Connect does not offer a South Asia eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All of its South Asia plans are data‑only.

Travelers can still use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict access to particular apps or services. It is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on are accessible in South Asia before purchasing a plan.
