Keep On Roaming eSIM Data Plans for Romania

Keep On Roaming does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Romania. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually grant 1GB of high‑speed data per day or a total of 1GB for the validity period, after which the speed is reduced. Therefore, these plans are not unlimited in the sense of offering unlimited high‑speed data.

Travelers who need more data can choose one of Keep On Roaming’s fixed data plans for Romania, such as the 100GB 30 days or the 50GB 30 days options. These plans give a larger data allowance and may be more cost‑effective for users who consume a lot of data.

Keep On Roaming does not provide an eSIM for Romania that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Consumers can only purchase data‑only plans for use in Romania.

If travelers need to make voice or text communications, they can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may restrict or block specific apps, so it is prudent to confirm that the needed communications apps work in Romania before buying a plan.

Keep On Roaming offers 15 single‑country plans that include Romania and 40 multi‑country plans that cover Romania alongside other destinations. The available plans range in price from about $5 to $148, with data allowances between 1 GB and 100 GB that are valid for 1 to 30 days. In the single‑country set most options are fixed‑data plans, whereas the multi‑country bundle provides a mix of daily capped and fixed data plans, giving travelers flexibility depending on their usage needs.
