Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Romania

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Romania. All of its plans that use the word “UNLIMITED” actually have a hard data limit of 5 GB per day; after that limit the speed drops to 1024 kbps. Travelers can instead choose fixed‑data plans such as the 20 GB for 30 days plan or the 10 GB for 30 days plan, which offer larger data allowances without the daily cap and are available for the same roaming coverage.

Kolet does not offer eSIM plans for Romania that include a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. Travelers who need voice or text services will need to rely on internet‑based applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. These apps normally work over a data connection, though some destinations may block or limit access to specific VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on are accessible in Romania before purchasing a Kolet eSIM.

The available data does not specify how many of Kolet’s plans are single‑country versus multi‑country for Romania, so a precise count cannot be provided.
