Sim Local does not provide a truly unlimited eSIM plan for Romania. The only plans marketed with “Unlimited” in the name are the Europe Unlimited 7‑90‑day packages, each of which actually includes a 10 GB/day cap. After that threshold is reached the data speed is reduced, but the plan remains a capped one.

Travelers who need a larger steady data allowance can choose from Sim Local’s fixed‑data plans for Romania, such as the 20 GB plan valid for 30 days (priced at $23.50 USD) or the 30 GB Global plan (30 days for $47.00 USD). For even higher capacity, the Orange Holiday Europe options (50 GB, 100 GB and 200 GB for 31 days) are also available. These fixed plans offer a set amount of high‑speed data without the hourly “unlimited” limiting daily data consumption.

Sim Local does not provide Romania eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The available plans are data‑only and do not support voice calls or text messages over the network.
