WonderConnect eSIM Data Plans for Romania

WonderConnect does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Romania. All of its plans that cover Romania have a fixed data allowance of 50 GB, which must be used within 30 days. Travelers who need more data under a single contract would need to purchase multiple such plans or opt for the Pay‑as‑You‑Go option, where the data credit can be topped up continuously.

For example, WonderConnect’s “Ukraine” and “Cyprus” plans each offer 50 GB of 5G data for 30 days. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless a traveller anticipates using large amounts of data beyond the 50 GB limit.

WonderConnect does not provide eSIM plans for Romania that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only options are available from this provider. Travelers who need to stay in touch can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on work in Romania before purchasing.

WonderConnect offers seven single‑country data plans for Romania and an additional thirty‑five multi‑country plans that include Romania. The price range for these plans spans from $2.99 to $134.99, while the data caps range from 1 GB to 50 GB. Single‑country plans provide a fixed data amount for the validity period, whereas some multi‑country plans employ a daily data cap that allows the total data to be spread across the days of validity. Tethering is permitted on applicable plans.
