BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for Rwanda

BNESIM does not provide an unlimited‑data eSIM plan for Rwanda. The provider’s offerings in the country consist of fixed‑data plans, such as 20 GB, 50 GB, and 100 GB data allowances, each with a validity of 30 days or an “unlimited” period that still limits the amount of data to the specified cap. Travelers who need more data per day may choose the larger fixed plans—for example a 100 GB plan that lasts 30 days or a 100 GB plan with lifetime validity. Selecting a fixed data plan tends to be more economical unless the user is a very heavy data consumer.

BNESIM does not provide an eSIM for Rwanda that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only plans for Rwanda, so travelers cannot receive calls or text messages on a local number. They can still use internet‑based communication services such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage, which operate over the data connection and allow voice and messaging without a traditional phone number or SMS service.
