Ubigi eSIM Data Plans for Rwanda

Ubigi does not have an unlimited data eSIM plan for Rwanda. Travelers can choose fixed‑data options instead, such as the BEST AFRICA plan which offers 60GB for 30 days at $129.00 USD or the WORLD plan that supplies 60GB for 30 days at $199.00 USD. These plans provide a substantial amount of data and are available for the same validity and network coverage as the other Ubigi offerings in Rwanda. If a user requires more data, selecting a larger fixed‑data plan may be more cost‑effective compared to an unlimited arrangement.

Ubigi does not offer an eSIM plan for Rwanda that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The only available plans are data‑only, providing high‑speed internet via 5G, 4G or 3G networks. Travelers can still use messaging and call functions through VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but they will not receive a local phone number or standard SMS service from the Ubigi eSIM.

Ubigi offers a total of 23 data options for use in Rwanda. The provider lists four single‑country plans that cover only Rwanda, and 19 multi‑country plans that include Rwanda among other destinations. Within these options, two are daily‑cap plans that reset part of the allowance each day, while the remaining 21 are fixed‑cap plans that provide a set amount of data for the entire validity period.
