Jetpac eSIM Data Plans for South Africa

Jetpac does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM plan for South Africa. All of Jetpac’s South Africa offerings have a hard data cap; for example, the “South Africa - Unlimited” series provide 3 GB per day with speed throttled to 1 000 kbps after the limit, and the largest flat‑price options are the 30 GB and 20 GB plans, each valid for 30 days.

For travelers who need more data without a hard cap, Jetpac’s fixed data plans such as the 30 GB and 20 GB options may be a more cost‑effective choice. These plans include a clear data allowance that can be used at full speed until it is exhausted, and they remain active for the full 30‑day validity period.

Jetpac does not offer any South Africa eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need a number for local calls or text messages must rely on a data-only eSIM from Jetpac and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for communication. While these apps typically work over a data connection, some destinations may restrict or block specific services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you depend on are accessible in South Africa before purchasing.

Jetpac provides 13 single‑country data plans and 12 multi‑country data plans for South Africa, a total of 25 plans. Prices for these plans range from $7.00 to $495.50, with data caps between 1 GB and 30 GB and validity periods of 1 to 30 days. Some options feature daily data limits, while others offer a fixed data amount, and certain plans include additional conditions such as tethering, new‑user restriction, or a reduced speed of 1000 kbps.
