FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for South Korea

FootySIMs does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for South Korea. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” actually offer 1GB per day and reduce the speed to 512kbps once that daily limit is reached, so they are fixed data plans rather than unlimited ones.

Travelers who need a large amount of high‑speed data can choose from FootySIMs’ fixed data plans, such as the 1GB/day for 7 days or the 1GB/day for 30 days options. These plans give a generous data allowance before the speed reduction applies and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless an extremely heavy data consumer requires truly unlimited data.

FootySIMs does not provide an eSIM for South Korea that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All available South Korean plans from FootySIMs are data‑only, meaning travelers receive only internet access. For voice calls and text messaging, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but it is advisable to check that these services are accessible in South Korea before purchasing, as some destinations may limit or block specific apps.

FootySIMs offers three single‑country data plans for South Korea. The provider does not currently have multi‑country plans targeting that country. Among those three, two are daily data cap plans that refresh each day, while the remaining one is a fixed data cap plan that does not reset. The plans vary in price from about $4.83 to $132.52 and each provides 1 GB of data, with validity periods ranging from 7 to 30 days.
