nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Uganda

NextSIM does not offer a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Uganda. All plans marketed as “Unlimited” provide only 1GB or 2GB of data, after which the connection speed is throttled to 512kbps or 2000kbps. Because of the capped data allowance, these plans are not suitable for users who need unrestricted high‑speed usage.

If an unlimited data experience is required, travelers can instead select one of nextSIM’s fixed‑data plans. For example, the eSIM Uganda 20GB 30Days Economy plan offers 20GB of data for 30 days at a lower price, and the eSIM 20GB 30 Days Uganda plan provides 20GB for the same period at a higher price. These plans deliver a consistent data allowance without early throttling, and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

nextSIM does not offer any eSIM plans that provide a local phone number or SMS capability for travelers in Uganda; all available nextSIM plans for Uganda are data‑only. Travelers can still use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages.
