nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data plan for Uganda. The plans labeled “Unlimited” in the provider’s catalogue actually offer a fixed amount of high‑speed data—1 GB for a single day or 2 GB for a few days—after which the connection speed is reduced (512 kbps or 2000 kbps). Because of these caps and the speed throttling, the plans are not considered unlimited.

If a larger data allowance is needed, nextSIM offers fixed‑data plans such as the 20 GB 30‑day “Economy” eSIM for Uganda or the 30 GB, 40 GB, and 50 GB 30‑day “Premium” plans that cover Uganda plus many other countries. These fixed plans provide a substantial amount of high‑speed data and can be more cost effective for travelers who require significant bandwidth throughout their stay.
