Nomad does not offer a plan with truly unlimited high‑speed data in the United States. All plans that carry the word “unlimited” actually provide 2GB of fast data per day, after which the speed is reduced to 1000kbps.

Travelers who need larger volumes of data can select from Nomad’s fixed‑data plans. For example, the Local United States – 365 Days – 100 GB plan gives 100GB of full‑speed data for a year, the Local United States – 180 Days – 75 GB plan offers 75GB for 180 days, and the Local United States – 30 Days – 50 GB plan supplies 50GB for a month. These plans do not throttle speed until the allowance is reached, making them more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Nomad does not provide United States of America eSIM plans that come with a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for this destination. Travelers can still communicate using popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, which allow voice calls and messaging without a traditional phone number or SMS service.
