Lumbus eSIM Data Plans for Argentina

Lumbus does not offer a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Argentina. The plans that include “Unlimited” in their name actually give 3 GB per day of high‑speed data and then throttle to 1 Mbps once that daily allowance is reached.
For travelers who need more data without a daily limit, Lumbus provides fixed data plans such as the Argentina 20 GB 30 days plan or the South America (6 areas) 50 GB 180 days plan. These fixed‑data options can be more cost‑effective for most users unless an extremely heavy data user needs the 3 GB‑per‑day allowance with a reduced speed fallback.

Lumbus does not provide any Argentina eSIM plans that include a phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. Only data‑only eSIMs are offered for Argentina. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, although some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is wise to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible in Argentina before purchasing a plan.

Lumbus has 10 single‑country data plans and 40 multi‑country plans available for Argentina. The plans cover a price range of about $3.99 to $603.99 and a data cap that spans from 1 GB up to 50 GB. Among these, 12 plans feature a daily data allowance while 38 plans provide a fixed data amount. However, only single‑country and multi‑country categories exist, so each plan is either for use solely in Argentina or can be used in multiple countries.
