Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Azerbaijan

Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Azerbaijan. The plans that carry “Unlimited Data” in their names actually grant a daily high‑speed allowance—2 GB per day for global plans and 3 GB per day for Azerbaijan‑specific plans—after which the speed is throttled to 2000 kbps or 1000 kbps, respectively.

If a traveler needs a larger, unthrottled data allowance, Tourist eSIM offers fixed data plans such as 100 GB for 180 days, 80 GB for 365 days, or 60 GB for 125 days. These fixed data plans provide a set amount of high‑speed data that must be used within the validity period and can be more cost‑effective for users who do not require continuous, unlimited data.

Tourist eSIM does not provide an Azerbaijan eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can purchase only data‑only plans for Azerbaijan. Over the data connection, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can generally be used for calling and messaging, but the availability of these services can vary. It is advisable to verify that the specific VoIP apps required for a trip are accessible in Azerbaijan before purchasing a Tourist eSIM plan.

Tourist eSIM offers 15 single‑country plans and 80 multi‑country plans that include Azerbaijan. The available plans range in price from $2.86 to $426.78 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 100 GB. Within these options, 20 plans feature a daily data cap—giving a set amount of data each day—while 75 plans use a fixed data cap that supplies a total data allowance for the plan’s validity period. Some plans allow tethering, and reduced‑speed options of 2000 kbps or 1000 kbps are also available.
