Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Canada

Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Canada. The plans that include “Unlimited Data” in their name all specify a hard limit of high‑speed data, such as 3 GB per day on the Canada • Unlimited Data • 15 days plan, after which the speed drops to 1000 kbps. The same pattern applies to other North America limited‑day plans.

If a visitor prefers a larger, fixed data allowance, the provider offers several higher‑volume options. For example, Canada • 75 GB • 30 days supplies 75 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and Global plans of 80 GB to 100 GB with 180‑ or 365‑day validity are also available. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for heavy users who do not need continuous high‑speed data beyond the specified limits.

Tourist eSIM does not provide an eSIM for Canada that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are offered, so travelers looking to use a local number for calls and text messages must rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. While these apps typically work, visitors should check that the specific VoIP services they intend to use are accessible in Canada before purchasing a plan.

The Tourist eSIM catalogue lists 11 single‑country plans and 128 multi‑country plans that cover Canada. Prices run from $2.91 to $426.78 USD, while data caps range from 1 GB up to 100 GB. Most of the offerings are fixed‑data plans, but a smaller set of daily‑cap options are also available.
