Simfinity does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. The provider’s plans for China are fixed‑data offerings rather than unlimited. For example, Simfinity offers a 20GB plan that lasts 30 days and a 10GB plan with the same validity; a 25GB plan is also available with unlimited validity but still capped at 25GB of high‑speed data.

Choosing a fixed data plan may be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless the user expects to consume data at extremely high levels. The 25GB plan offers the largest allowance; however, users who anticipate consistently exceeding that limit would need to purchase multiple credits or seek a different provider that offers true unlimited data.

Simfinity does not provide an eSIM plan that includes a Chinese phone number or SMS capability for travelers. Only data‑only eSIMs are offered for China.

Users can still communicate while abroad by using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, which enable voice calls and messaging without the need for a local phone number or SMS.

Simfinity’s offering in China consists of five single‑country data plans and 18 multi‑country plans that include China. The single‑country plans give you coverage solely within China, while the multi‑country plans bundle China with additional destinations. The plans span a price range from about $3 to $161 and cover data amounts from 100 MB up to 25 GB, with a variety of validity periods that can be as short as a day or as long as indefinite.
