Ubigi eSIM Data Plans for Costa Rica

Ubigidain does not provide an unlimited data eSIM option for Costa Rica. All plans listed for the country have fixed data allowances. For example, a 60 GB plan is available for 30 days at $69 USD, and a 25 GB plan can be purchased for 30 days at $29 USD. These fixed‑data plans are the options betalen by travelers to Costa Rica, and they can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Ubigi does not offer a Costa Rica eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only supplies data‑only plans for that country.

Travelers can still use voice and messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, which allows calls and messages without needing a traditional phone number or SMS service.

Ubigi offers seven single‑country plans for Costa Rica and eleven multi‑country plans that include Costa Rica. The single‑country options provide data caps ranging from 500 MB up to 10 GB for validity periods of 7 to 30 days, with prices generally between $5 and $70.
