Ubigi does not currently provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Costa Rica. Travelers can choose from fixed‑data options instead, such as the 60GB plan that is valid for 30 days and costs $69.00 USD, or the 25GB plan that is also valid for 30 days and costs $29.00 USD. These fixed‑data plans may be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Ubigi does not offer a Costa Rica eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only supplies data‑only plans for that country.

Travelers can still use voice and messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, which allows calls and messages without needing a traditional phone number or SMS service.
