MobiMatter eSIM Data Plans for DR Congo

MobiMatter does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for travelers visiting DR Congo. All of its plans for the country come with specified data caps, such as 26GB, 20GB, 13GB, or 10GB, and a defined validity period ranging from 15 to 365 days.

Travelers can choose from a range of fixed‑data plans that offer substantial data allowances. For example, the Global 26 GB Yearly plan provides 26GB for 365 days, while the Global 20 GB plan offers 20GB for 365 days. These options may be more cost‑effective for most users compared to subscribing to a pay‑as‑you‑go arrangement, especially if heavy data usage is not anticipated.

MobiMatter does not provide eSIM plans for DR Congo that include a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. The available eSIMs are data‑only, so travelers can access Wi‑Fi and mobile data but not traditional cellular voice or text services.

Travelers who need to talk or text can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to check that the apps you rely on are usable in DR Congo before purchasing a plan.

MobiMatter provides 12 multi‑country data packages that include DR Congo. Those plans range in price from roughly $5.99 to $74.99, offer between 1 GB and 26 GB of data, and have validity periods from seven days up to a full year; most of them allow tethering.
