abesteSIM eSIM Data Plans for Ecuador

abesteSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Ecuador. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually offer 1GB of high‑speed data per day; after that amount the speed is reduced to 5000kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose from abesteSIM’s fixed data plans, such as the 50GB bundles that are valid for 3, 5, 7, 10, or 15 days. These plans give a large amount of high‑speed data before any speed reduction and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they are extremely heavy data consumers.

abesteSIM currently does not offer an eSIM for Ecuador that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available from this provider for travel in Ecuador.

Travelers can use the data connection to access VoIP and messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage for calls and text, but some services may be blocked or restricted in certain destinations. It is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on are accessible in Ecuador before purchasing a plan.

AbesteSIM offers 76 single‑country plans and 217 multi‑country plans that include coverage in Ecuador. The available plans span a price range from about $0.55 to $205.82 and data caps between 500 MB and 50 GB, with validity periods that can be as short as one day or extend up to 60 days. The plans are divided into fixed data amount options and daily data‑cap options, allowing travelers to choose whether they prefer a set amount of data for the entire validity or a daily allocation that resets each day.
