FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for Ecuador

FootySIMs does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for Ecuador. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” actually grant a fixed 1 GB per day allowance and reduce the speed to 512 kbps once that daily limit is reached, so they are not unlimited in the sense of continuous high‑speed data.

Travelers looking for a larger data pool can choose one of FootySIMs’ fixed data plans for Ecuador, such as the 1 GB/7‑day bundle or the 1 GB/day for 30‑days option. These offer a clear data allowance and high‑speed connectivity up to the stated cap, and often represent a more cost‑effective choice unless a user requires very heavy data consumption.

FootySIMs does not offer any eSIM plans for Ecuador that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available. Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, although they should verify that these apps are accessible in Ecuador before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict specific services.

FootySIMs currently offers three single‑country data plans for Ecuador, with no multi‑country plans available. The plans cover data amounts ranging from 1 GB to 1 GB and are priced between $4.83 and $173.25. Two of the plans provide data through a daily data cap, meaning the data allowance is reset each day, while the remaining plan uses a fixed data amount that does not change throughout the validity period.
