Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Ecuador

Roamic does not provide a genuinely unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Ecuador. The plans labeled “Unlimited” actually supply 3GB of high‑speed data per validity period, after which the speed drops to 1000 kbps. Travelers who need a larger bulk of high‑speed data can instead choose one of Roamic’s fixed‑data plans; for example, a 20GB plan for 30 days costs $36.00 USD, while a 10GB plan for the same period costs $18.00 USD. These fixed‑data plans offer higher data allowances without the speed reduction that applies to the “Unlimited” offerings.

Roamic does not offer eSIM plans for Ecuador that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from Roamic for use in Ecuador, and phone calls and text messages must be made through VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. However, some destinations may restrict access to certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to check that the apps you rely on work in Ecuador before buying a Roamic eSIM.

Roamic offers 13 single‑country data plans for use in Ecuador and 4 multi‑country plans that include Ecuador as part of a broader regional rollout. The plans range in price from about $3 to $111 and in data cap from 1 GB to 20 GB, with validity periods that span 1 to 30 days. Some packages feature a daily data cap, while others provide a fixed amount of data for the entire validity.
