Yatelo eSIM Data Plans for Ecuador

Yatelo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Ecuador. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually grant 3GB of high‑speed data and then reduce the speed to 1000kbps once that amount is used.

Travelers who need more data can choose from Yatelo’s fixed data plans, such as the 50GB 30 days plan, the 20GB 30 days plan, or the 10GB 30 days plan. These options offer larger data allowances and may be more cost‑effective for users who consume a lot of data.

Yatelo does not offer an eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability for travel to Ecuador. The provider supplies only data‑only eSIM plans for that destination. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should check that these apps are available and functional in Ecuador before buying a plan.

Yatelo provides 12 single‑country plans and 18 multi‑country plans that cover Ecuador. The single‑country options vary from about $3.57 up to $149.18 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB over 3 to 30 days. The multi‑country bundles offer a comparable price range and data allowance, allowing customers to use the same data allocation in Ecuador and other countries. Both types of plans support tethering when the plan includes it and may feature a reduced speed cap of 1 Mbps for certain entries.
