Airalo eSIM Data Plans for El Salvador

Airalo does not have a truly unlimited data plan for El Salvador. The plans labeled “Unlimited” provide 3GB of high‑speed data each day; after that amount is used the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. Because the data cap is applied daily, the plan is not unlimited in the sense of unrestricted high‑speed usage.

Travelers who need more data can choose from fixed‑data options. For example, Chivo offers a 20GB plan valid for 15 days at $48.00 USD, and Latamlink offers a 20GB plan for the same period at $56.00 USD. These fixed‑data plans may be more cost effective for heavy data users.

Airalo does not currently provide an eSIM for El Salvador that includes a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. All Airalo eSIMs for El Salvador are data‑only, without inbound or outbound voice or text capabilities. Travelers can still use messaging and voice applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection as an alternative.
