Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Estonia

Nomad does not offer a true unlimited data eSIM for Estonia. Existing plans that carry “unlimited” in their name actually provide a fixed daily data allowance of 2 GB with a daily cap; once the 2 GB per day is used, the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose one of Nomad’s fixed data plans that include larger high‑speed allowances. For example, the “Local Estonia – 30 Days – 50 GB” plan offers 50 GB of full‑speed data for 30 days, while the “Regional Europe – 30 Days – 50 GB” plan provides the same amount of high‑speed data over Estonia and 34 other European countries. These fixed data plans give a larger total data bundle and may be more cost‑effective for users who consume a substantial amount of data.

Nomad does not offer an Estonia eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only sells data‑only plans for Estonia, so travelers wanting voice calls or text messages must rely on internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. Because some destinations can restrict or block certain VoIP applications, it is advisable to check whether the apps you plan to use are accessible in Estonia before purchasing a Nomad eSIM.

Nomad provides data plans that cover Estonia through both its single‑country catalogue and its multi‑country packages. In total, the provider lists 10 single‑country plans and 27 multi‑country plans. Customers looking for a plan just for Estonia can choose from the single‑country option, which offers data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB and pricing from about $3 to $170, with validity periods ranging from a few days up to a year. The multi‑country packages that include Estonia likewise span the same data cap range and price range, allowing travelers to combine coverage with other destinations while staying within that overall spectrum. Fixed data‑cap plans form the majority of the offering, while a smaller subset—six daily data‑cap plans—provides a fixed amount of usable data each day. Tethering is permitted on many of these plans, giving users flexibility in how they use the mobile data.
