MobineX does not provide a truly unlimited eSIM plan for Hong Kong. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name are actually fixed data plans: Unlimited Standard gives 1GB of high‑speed data per day and then throttles to 128kbps, while Unlimited Gold offers 5GB of high‑speed data per day and throttles to 1024kbps once the limit is reached.

For travelers who need more data, mobineX offers fixed‑data options such as 100GB for 60 days at $480.00 USD, 50GB for 90 days at $153.00 USD, and other smaller packages (e.g., 30GB for 30 days). These plans can be more economical for users who consume large amounts of data.

mobineX does not offer an eSIM for Hong Kong that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider currently sells only data‑only plans for Hong Kong, so travelers cannot receive or send SMS through the eSIM. However, VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage work over the data connection and allow voice and messaging without a phone number or SMS feature.
