ViaConecta does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Hong Kong. All plans labelled “Hong Kong Unlimited” deliver 1 GB of high‑speed data per day, so after the daily quota is reached the speed is reduced according to the plan’s terms.

For travelers who need more data, fixed‑data options are available. For example, the 30 GB 30‑day plan is priced at $34.38 USD, and the 20 GB 30‑day plan costs $25.18 USD. These plans give a larger total allowance and may be more cost effective if the user is a heavy data consumer.

ViaConecta does not provide an eSIM for Hong Kong that includes a local phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only eSIM plans are sold. Travelers can still use WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage and other VoIP services over the data connection for voice and text.
