Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for Hong Kong

Zwitchy does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Hong Kong. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” actually give 3GB of high‑speed data each day for the duration of the plan; once that daily allowance is reached, the speed drops to 1000 kbps. There is no fixed plan that offers unrestricted high‑speed data without a cap.

Alternatively, travelers can choose from the fixed‑data options that Zwitchy does offer for Hong Kong. For example, a 50 GB plan for 30 days costs $34 USD and a 30 GB plan for 30 days costs $21.50 USD. These larger bundles provide a substantial data allocation within the validity period, and may be more cost‑effective for users who need a large amount of data without the daily re‑reset seen in the “Unlimited” plans.

Zwitchy does not provide Hong Kong eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for travelers visiting Hong Kong.

Travelers who need voice or messaging can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict specific apps, so it is advisable to verify that the services you rely on are accessible in Hong Kong before purchasing a plan.

Zwitchy offers 16 single‑country plans for Hong Kong and 29 multi‑country plans that include Hong Kong. The plans are grouped into two main types: daily data‑cap plans, which reset each day and are priced between about $1 and $140, and fixed data‑cap plans, which provide a set amount of data for the length of the validity period. Across the catalog, data limits range from 100 MB up to 50 GB and validity can be as short as one day or as long as thirty days.
