Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Hungary

Airalo does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Hungary. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name – for example Eurolink‑Unlimited and Szia!‑Unlimited – include a daily data cap of 3GB per day; after reaching that limit the speed is reduced to 1000kbps. These plans are not unlimited in the sense of providing high‑speed data without any limits.

For travelers who need more data, Airalo offers fixed‑data plans. Examples include Eurolink‑100GB, which provides 100GB of high‑speed data for 180 days, and Eurolink‑50GB, which offers 50GB for 90 days. Smaller fixed plans are also available, such as Szia!‑20GB or EUconnect‑20GB, each giving 20GB for 30 days. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost effective unless you expect to use data at a very high rate for many consecutive days.

Airalo does not offer any eSIM plan for Hungary that includes a local phone number or SMS capabilities. All of Airalo’s Hungary eSIM options are data‑only plans, so the user receives no inbound or outbound voice or text services.

If calling or texting is needed, travellers can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage that run over the data connection provided by the eSIM.
