Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Hungary

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Hungary. The plans that carry the label “Unlimited” actually grant a daily limit of 3 GB; after that limit the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps, which means the data is not unlimited at full speed.

For travelers who need large amounts of high‑speed data, Airalo offers fixed‑data plans such as the Eurolink 100 GB plan (valid for 180 days) and the Eurolink 50 GB plan (valid for 90 days). These plans provide a set amount of high‑speed data and can be more economical than the “Unlimited” name‑convention bundles.

Airalo does not offer any eSIM plan for Hungary that includes a local phone number or SMS capabilities. All of Airalo’s Hungary eSIM options are data‑only plans, so the user receives no inbound or outbound voice or text services.

If calling or texting is needed, travellers can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage that run over the data connection provided by the eSIM.

Airalo offers seven single‑country data plans that cover only Hungary, and 27 multi‑country plans that include Hungary as part of a broader zone.
