Saily eSIM Data Plans for Hungary

Saily does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Hungary. The plans marketed as “Unlimited” have a hard cap—such as 5 GB per day or a fixed 30 GB for a month—and the speed is reduced after that capacity is reached (for example to 1000 kbps). Travelers who need a larger uninterrupted data allowance can choose from Saily’s fixed data plans, such as the Hungary 20 GB 30 days plan or the Hungary 5 GB/day plans that last 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 days. These fixed‑data options provide a known amount of high‑speed data for the specified validity period and may be more cost‑effective for most users.

Saily does not provide an eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability for Hungary. Travelers who purchase a Saily eSIM for Hungary will have a data connection only, with no inbound or outbound voice or text service.

Since there is no phone number or SMS provision, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to communicate over the data network. However, some destinations may restrict or block certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to check that the apps you need are accessible in Hungary before making a purchase.

Saily offers 11 single‑country plans and 22 multi‑country plans in Hungary, covering a price range from about $3.99 to $159.99 and data limits from roughly 1 GB to 50 GB. Some of the plans provide a fixed data amount for the entire validity period, while others impose a daily data cap; 12 plans use daily data caps and 21 use fixed data caps.
