Astaroam eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

No, Astaroam does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Iceland. All of the plans listed for Iceland have specified data caps, such as the 1 GB for 1 day or the 3 GB per day plans that reduce speed to 1000 kbps after the limit is reached. Travelers who need more data can choose fixed data plans, for example the 20 GB plan valid for 30 days or the 10 GB plan for 30 days, both of which offer high‑speed data without any speed reduction within their data limits. These fixed data plans may be more cost‑effective for most users, while heavy data consumers might consider the larger allowances.

Astaroam does not offer an eSIM for Iceland that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available from this provider. Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can normally use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict access to these services; it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are usable in Iceland before making a purchase.

Astaroam provides 13 single‑country data plans that cover Iceland, and 19 multi‑country plans that include Iceland as part of the coverage. The available plans range in price from about $0.93 to $24.01 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB over validity periods of 1 to 30 days. Some plans feature daily data caps while others have fixed data amounts, and a number of them allow tethering with a reduced speed limit of 1 Mbps.
