Esimtrav eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Esimtrav does not offer a truly unlimited eSIM plan for Iceland. The eSIMs that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually provide 20 GB of high‑speed data over a 30‑day validity, and once that data cap is reached the service speed is reduced—however, the exact throttled speed is not disclosed by the provider.

Instead, Esimtrav offers fixed‑data options such as a 20 GB 30‑day plan for $75.25 and a 10 GB 30‑day plan for $24.23. These plans give travelers a clear amount of high‑speed data within the validity period and may be more cost‑effective for users who are not extremely heavy data consumers.

Esimtrav does not provide Iceland eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are offered for Iceland. Travellers can still use WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage and similar VoIP apps over the data connection for calls and messaging.
