Esimtrav eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Esimtrav does not offer a truly unlimited data plan for Iceland.
The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name actually provide 20 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days. Travelers who need a fixed amount of data can choose from the available plans. For instance, a 20 GB plan costs $75.25, a 10 GB plan is $24.23, and a 5 GB plan runs for $12.75, all of them valid for 30 days. In each case the data allowance is capped, so the plan’s name may be misleading but the plan itself has a defined limit.

Esimtrav does not provide an Iceland eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Iceland plans are data‑only; they do not supply inbound or outbound voice or text services. Travelers who need communications can still use data‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage, which operate over the data connection and enable calls and messaging without a local phone number or SMS function.

Esimtrav currently offers four single-coverage data plans for Iceland. These plans range in price from $12.75 to $75.25 and provide data allowances between 5GB and 20GB, all with a validity period of 30 days. They do not currently offer multi-country plans that include Iceland. The available options generally provide a fixed data amount for use during the plan’s validity.
