Globie eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Globie does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Iceland. All of its Iceland‑specific plans list a hard data cap of 3 GB per day, and after that daily limit is reached the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. This means the high‑speed data allowance is limited, and the plan is no longer unlimited.

If a traveler needs more data without the daily cap, Globie offers fixed data plans instead. For example, the Iceland 50GB for 30 days plan supplies 50 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and the Iceland 20GB for 30 days plan offers 20 GB for the same period. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for users who want a larger, predictable amount of high‑speed data.

Globie does not offer any eSIM plan for Iceland that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Iceland offers only data‑only eSIM plans, and there are no options with inbound or outbound voice or text services.

Travelers who need to communicate can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should confirm that these services are accessible in Iceland before purchasing a plan.

Globie provides a range of data plans that cover Iceland. For single‑country coverage there are 12 plans, while for multi‑country coverage 16 plans are available. The plans vary widely in price, from $3.49 up to $95.99, and in data limits, from 1 GB to 50 GB, with validity periods ranging from 5 to 30 days. Some plans use a daily data cap, limiting the amount you can use each day, while others offer a fixed total data amount for the entire validity period. Both of these options are offered across the single‑country and multi‑country selections.
