Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM for Iceland. The plans that use the word “UNLIMITED” in their names give 5 GB per day at full speed, after which the speed is reduced to 1 000 kbps. Travelers who need more data can choose fixed plans such as the 20 GB for 30 days plan or the 10 GB for 30 days plan, which allow full‑speed use for the entire validity period. These fixed data options can be more cost‑effective unless a user consumes more data than the 5 GB/day limit permits.

Kolet does not provide Iceland eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM options are available from the provider for travelers heading to Iceland.

Travelers who need voice or text services can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection. Some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to verify that the services you rely on are accessible in Iceland before purchasing a Kolet eSIM.

Kolet provides 13 single‑country plans and 18 multi‑country plans for Iceland. The available plans span a price range from $3.99 to $104.40 and a data cap from 1 GB to 20 GB, with validity periods ranging from 1 to 365 days. The single‑country options give you a dedicated data allocation for Iceland only, while the multi‑country selections allow you to use the same data allowance across multiple destinations.
