nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

There are no truly unlimited data eSIM plans for Iceland from nextSIM. The plans that use the word “Unlimited” have a hard cap – most provide 1GB per day or 2GB per day – and once that daily limit is reached data speed is throttled to either 512kbps or 2000kbps.

If you need a larger, fixed‑data option, nextSIM offers high‑capacity plans such as a 100GB bundle valid for 30 days or a 50GB bundle also for 30 days. These fixed data plans give customers a set amount of high‑speed data that can be used freely within the validity period, which can be more cost‑effective for travelers who require a more substantial data allowance.

nextSIM does not offer any eSIM plans for Iceland that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who purchase a nextSIM eSIM for Iceland will receive a data‑only subscription. If you need to make voice calls or send text messages, you can use popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but you should verify that these services are accessible in Iceland before purchasing.

nextSIM lists 63 single‑country plans that are valid for Iceland alone and 127 multi‑country plans that include Iceland among other destinations. Among these, most plans are fixed‑data packages, while a smaller portion consists of daily data cap plans. The fixed‑data options run from 1 GB to 100 GB, with prices ranging roughly from $1.69 to $1, 278.53, while daily data caps allow more flexibility for short stays. The validity period for these packages can go from a single day up to a full year, depending on the specific plan.
