Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Roamic does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Iceland. The plans labeled “Unlimited” actually provide 3 GB of high‑speed data per day; once that allowance is reached the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps, so the data is not unlimited. Instead, Roamic provides fixed data plans with a set data allowance that must be used within the validity period. For example, the Iceland eSIM 50GB/30 days plan gives 50 GB of data for 30 days, the Iceland eSIM 20GB/30 days plan offers 20 GB for the same period, and the Iceland eSIM 10GB/30 days plan supplies 10 GB for 30 days. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective unless a traveler anticipates extremely heavy data usage.

Roamic does not provide an Iceland eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans from this provider for Iceland. If a phone number or text messaging is required, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Iceland before purchasing.

Roamic offers 12 single‑country plans and 14 multi‑country plans that include Iceland. The available plans range in price from about $1.00 to $42.00 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB, with validity periods from 1 to 30 days. The single‑country options give you a fixed data amount for the duration of the plan, while the multi‑country plans allow you to use the same data allowance across several destinations, including Iceland, within the same validity period.
