Simsima eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Simsima does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Iceland.
The plans that carry the name “Unlimited” actually grant a daily allowance of 3 GB at full speed and then throttle the connection to 1000 kbps once that limit is reached; they are fixed data plans rather than unlimited ones. For travelers needing more data the provider offers fixed‑data alternatives, such as a 50 GB bundle valid for 30 days priced at $38.70 USD, or a 50 GB bundle valid for 90 days priced at $105.13 USD. These larger bundles use the 5G network and can be more cost‑effective for most users who do not require an unlimited data allowance.

No, Simsima does not offer an Iceland eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers using a Simsima eSIM in Iceland can access only data; they can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages, but the availability of these services is not guaranteed in all situations, so users should confirm that the apps they need work in Iceland before purchasing.

Simsima offers 11 single‑country plans and 20 multi‑country plans that include Iceland. The available plans range in price from roughly $4.07 to $105.13 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB. Some plans are fixed‑data packages, while others offer a daily data cap that resets each day.
