TropiTrade eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

TropiTrade does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Iceland.
All of its Iceland‑only offerings have a fixed data cap, such as 10GB, 20GB or 50GB for 30 days. The only plans with “Unlimited” in their name give 1GB per day and then reduce the speed to 1250 kbps after that daily limit, which is not a high‑speed unlimited data allowance. Travelers who need more data can choose a fixed‑data plan like the Iceland 50GB 30‑day option or the Iceland 20GB 30‑day plan, which offer larger amounts of high‑speed data within the validity period.

TropiTrade does not offer an Iceland eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Their plans for Iceland are strictly data‑only. Travelers can still use internet‑based messaging and calling services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but these services rely on a data connection and are not guaranteed to work if a destination blocks or restricts specific VoIP apps. It is advisable to confirm app availability before purchasing a plan.

TropiTrade provides 6 single‑country plans that cover Iceland and 12 multi‑country plans that include Iceland in the coverage set. The plans range in price from about $5.35 to $143.47 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB for validity periods of 1 to 30 days. Among the offerings, 17 plans are fixed‑data‑cap models, while one plan applies a daily data cap; this means the fixed‑cap plans grant the same total data allowance for the whole validity, whereas the daily‑cap plan limits how much data can be consumed each day. Some plans also permit tethering and, when speed is reduced, the diminished rate is 1 250 kbps.
