Truely eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Truely does not provide a plan with an unlimited data allowance for Iceland. All available options list a specific data cap, the largest of which is 20 GB. These 20 GB bundles are fixed data plans, meaning the data must be used within the stated validity period or, for the “Never Expires” option, the cap remains the same indefinitely, but the amount of data is capped at 20 GB rather than being unlimited.

If a traveler wants a larger amount of data, Truely offers fixed‑data alternatives such as the 20 GB, 30‑day plan priced at $26.99 USD or the 20 GB, Never Expires plan at $36.99 USD. These plans are commonly more cost‑effective for most users, unless the traveller is an exceptionally heavy data consumer.

Truely does not offer Iceland eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Iceland products are limited to data‑only eSIMs. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these apps are accessible in Iceland before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict VoIP services.

Truely offers 9 single‑country plans and 9 multi‑country plans that cover Iceland. The available plans range in price from $1.69 to $44.99 and in data cap from 300 MB to 20 GB. Validity periods vary from no expiry to 30 days, and many plans allow tethering. The plans are primarily fixed‑data packages, with no daily data‑cap options reported.
