Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for Iceland

Zwitchy does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Iceland. While several plans are labelled “Unlimited – 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, 10 days, 15 days, 20 days, 25 days, or 30 days” they deliver only 3 GB per day, after which speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. Travelers who need a larger unthrottled data allowance can select fixed‑data plans such as the 30 GB 30 days or 50 GB 30 days offers, which provide the full high‑speed allowance for the entire validity period.

Zwitchy does not offer any Iceland eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Iceland catalogue consists only of data‑only plans. Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Iceland before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or VoIP services.

Zwitchy provides 16 single‑country plans and 29 multi‑country plans for Iceland, making a total of 45 available options. The plans span a price range from $1.00 to $139.50, with data caps between 100 MB and 50 GB and validity periods from 1 to 30 days. Among the plans, 21 are fixed data caps and 24 use a daily data cap, giving travelers flexibility in how they use data. Many of the plans allow tethering, and some offer a reduced speed of 1000 kbit/s once the data allowance is reached.
