AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Iraq

AirPlans does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Iraq. The plans marketed as “Unlimited” each allow 1 GB per day (or 1 GB total for one‑day plans) and specify a reduced speed of 512 kbps after the daily limit is reached, so the high‑speed data is still capped.

Travelers who need larger data allowances can choose from AirPlans’ fixed data plans. For example, the Iraq 100GB 30 days plan gives 100 GB of high‑speed data valid for 30 days, and the Iraq 50GB 30 days plan offers 50 GB for the same period. These plans are billed as fixed data bundles, not pay‑as‑you‑go, and are often more cost‑effective for moderate to heavy data usage.

AirPlans does not offer an Iraq eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS service; only data‑only plans are available for that destination. Travelers who need to communicate in Iraq can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that those services are accessible in Iraq before purchasing a plan.

AirPlans currently offers 25 single‑country data plans and 8 multi‑country data plans that cover Iraq. The provider supplies both daily data cap plans, where the allowance resets each day, and fixed data cap plans that grant a set amount of data for the entire validity period. Prices range from about $2.07 to $258.57, with data caps ranging from 500 MB to 100 GB over validity periods of 1 to 30 days.
